"What do you know about this?" you ask, giving Alpert the piece of propaganda that you got before you trekked all the way here. Alpert holds it up to his face, squints at it. "Aha," he says, then begins to read: "'Every form of something has been based on the antagonism of operas. Nothing to lose but your chairs. The past cannot be forgotten, cannot be forgiven, and WILL rise again!" He looks back up at you. "I think those first two sentences are a ripoff of the Communist Manifesto," he says in a rather confidential tone, as a woman who looks slightly less dim than Alpert emerges from a nearby tent. "While I think the better question is whether Karl Marx is a murloc, enough chatter! You came to ask about this pamphlet, and in return, I will tell you that we've been getting lots of pamphlets here! Lots and lots of pamphlets. Most are signed by some person named V! And nobody has heard that letter since the death of Edwin VanCleef, the former leader of the Defias Brotherhood that used to terrorize everyone around here! Whew, glad he's dead." "You know, most people around here aren't," the woman chimes in. "I heard some people being pretty annoyed that he was dead the other day." "Ah, yes, Tina, but you know, those are just...people," Alpert says, waving vaguely. "Anyway, it's not like anyone wants the Defias back or anything." "Actually..." says Tina, "I heard some people the other day..." Alpert gesticulates randomly, struggling to come up with a response. You happen to look in the direction of his gesticulation and notice that there's a group of thugs talking behind a nearby building in that very direction. Alpert and Tina do not seem to have noticed the thugs, nor have the thugs noticed any of you.
Tell the incompetent people here about the thugs. Just go find out what's up with the thugs yourself.
