Westfall

"This isn't an 'extra'," says a fifth indignantly. "We are doing good for the world in getting rid of this traitor!" "Does 'good' get you paid?" says the third, who seems to be the leader of the group. "Yea, I thought not. So you do what I say or you suffer the consequences of an inadequate sum, only compensated by whatever 'doing good' gets you from the chief." "Speaking of the chief," says the sixth, "you said you met her?" The third nods. The sixth pipes up again. "Did you see her face? Is it really—" The third cuts him off with a motion, then looks around. He sees you. "Whoa, what do we have here?" he says. "Looks like we have ourselves an eavesdropper, boys. You two, get Lou if you feel like it. Rest of us..." He chuckles nastily as the two interested in killing Lou start to break off towards the barn. "Only one thing to do with a lousy, good-for-nothin' eavesdropper," the leader finishes.

Take care of the closer thugs. You can't do anything more for this place if they kill you. Throw your weapon at the further thugs. Maybe saving Lou is more important. Compromise between those two. Break a line to the further thugs, get rid of them, then take care of the rest, still armed. Speaking of compromise, see if you can bluff your way out of this.
