The thugs scatter at your approach, caught off-guard. One of them starts running towards Lou's house, but is quickly taken care of by a farmhand. You dispatch the rest. Unexpectedly quickly, you find Laine. He lets you into the house against Lou's complaints. "Spill it," he orders Lou. "This isn't the first time someone came after you. I saved you that time. What's up this time?" Lou looks as cornerned mentally as he is physically. "Used to be a Stonemason," he mumbles. "Stonemasons Guild turned into the Defias...they want me offed. Good enough for you?" Laine looks a tad surprised, which is more surprised than you've ever seen him look. Apparently, what Lou just said is news to Laine. He doesn't address Lou any further, though. Instead, he addresses you. "You feel like protecting our high-profile target?" he says. "Or do you want to keep investigating? I hear there's something going down at Stormwind's hub here of Sentinel Hill and in what's definitely not their hub in Moonbrook, and I have the feeling that Lou can get you in either place." "Don't know anyone anywhere!" Lou protests. "You just admitted you did ten seconds ago," Laine says, bothering to address Lou this time before he turns back to face you. "Well, kid, what'll it be?"
