Without so much as thanking you, Jimb drinks the bottle's contents and vanishes. "Why'd'ja do that?" Lou says, ducking into a nearby bush. "Now they'll all be after me! First it'll be the bad news barn gang, then Jimb, and before ya know it..." Lou becomes inaudible at this point and disappears from view. You look in the only place not in plain view on the negligible farm, namely behind the barn. Sure enough, you find something. Six thugs lurk behind the barn, having a chat as though no one would suspect a thing. "No good, him," says one of them. "He's gonna be the end of us unless we take him out first." "Nobody's payin' us for this," says another, "so I don't care. You can take him if you feel like it. I won't." "Yeah," says a third, "well, Mr. 'take him out first' an' her who said the same thing earlier can do that somethin' by themselves. We get our pay from the boss, that's all most of us need." A fourth one looks awed. "Did you...did you meet her?" he says. "Yep," says the third, "she's for real, an' for some reason, she wanted me to tell you lugs that she appreciates the job that we did for her on the Furlbrows. Gave me a pile o' gold to split with you all. None of it counts towards extras, though. You can ask her for that, if you care about gettin' paid for takin' out Lou." He scoffs under his breath.
Warn Lou before it's too late. Jump the thugs before they can kill anyone. Keep listening in case they spill more.
